Creative Scrappers #140 and More Echo Park

Good Morning,
I am getting in one more layout for Creative Scrappers January contest. I was able to complete 2 of them, not to shabby! I am trying to create more layouts and less cards, we'll see how that goes. Check back wednesday for a super cute Valentine's Day card!

Creative Scrappers #141 and Echo Park

Good Evening,
Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was peaceful and restful. I was able to scrap a little which always makes me happy! And I have been glued to my computer looking at the new releases from CHA! I would love to go one day! Maybe they will be in Texas in a few years!

This layout feature some photos from our anniversary trip we took in December! We were able to walk across the street from our bed and breakfast and feed the deer! They were beautiful!

Sketches In Thyme Tuesday Take #9

I enjoy seeing the sketches at Sketches in Thyme, but I have yet to enter a card in one of their challenges! So, here is my first!
They are using a Card Patterns sketch with is very similar to my previous post! I guess that's one reason I tried it out!


Here is my card!
I can't quit using Echo Park! I bought two more packages from their 2010 collections and I just love them! This one especially! They just don't disappoint! I love the big buttons!

Buttons: not sure... Threw away packaging... Bummer, because I love them!

Echo Park and Card Patterns #99

Good Evening!
I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was great. Relaxed on Saturday and had dinner with some of my family... Today, we went to church, and was able to craft a little! Card Patterns has a fantastic sketch this week and I just had to use it!
See what I mean! Couldn't resist!
I had to use my Echo Park! I L-O-V-E their paper and stickers and die cuts!

I love distressing at the moment, I just have to do it!

Papercraft Star Color Combo Challenge and Card Patterns Sketch

Hey Everyone,
There is a fabulous challenge that started today at Papercraft Star! It is a color combo/recipe challenge.

Here is the color combo... (Excellent colors, I might add). And the recipe portion is: Use some or all of the colors below to create your project and include at least two of the following elements:


  • Ribbon
  • Stamped Image
  • Embossing
  • Die Cut
If you noticed, I used all 4 parts in the recipe portion of the challenge.

I really enjoyed making this card. I am not much of a sticker fan, but Echo Park includes some fabulous stickers in their paper collection kits... Hope you have a fantastic day! List below are the materials I used.

Cardabilities Birthday Shetch Challenge #2

Hello Everyone,
I am back again with a sketch from Cardabilities! And they have a great sketch for one of their birthday celebration challenges! I knew this was the perfect chance for me to use my new Echo Park "Life is Good" collection! I just love the way it tuned out!

Much Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Hi there,
I am back after a small hiatus. I forgot my camera at my parent's house on Christmas day and I just got it back! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year... We are already coming up on Valentine's Day challenges and I am stocked! I love pink and anything that goes with it... So make sure you check back soon for some Valentine's/Love inspired projects!
