Papercraft Star Challenge #47

Good morning,
I have a few posts to share! We have one more week left in school and I will soon be on here a lot more! I have neglected you blogger and I am so sorry. But I am back!

I want to start off with a card that I am entering at Papercraft Star... I am using some new My Mind's Eye Lime Twist... These colors are fabulous! I love purple in every way and I was so exited to find this collection!

Here is the sketch!
Here is my card.
I created the lace flower with a bunch of Glue Dots since I have no idea where my needles are at... And I embossed the sentiment to allow it to stand out more than my original ink that I had used! I added my 1 cardstock, at least 2 patterned paper, and 3 bling!

Materials Used:
Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye
Cardstock: Bazzill
Border Punch: Martha Stewart
Lace: Hobby Lobby
Ink: VersaMark
Sentiment and Embossing Powder: American Crafts
Button: Craft Supply

The Kraft Journal and Unity Stamps

This week at The Kraft Journal the theme is "Clean and Simple" which I absolutely love! It would probably be one of my favorite types of scrapping, especially cards! I used a really cute butterfly stamp from Unity's "Could I Be Any Cuter" collection, and cut out the wings which I stamped on yellow and pink cardstock. I then drew the lines to show the butterfly's flight path! And the sentiment is also Unity from their "Stitched Greetings" collection!

Here is the inside of the card:

Happy Friday w/Papercraft Star and Sassy Lil' Card Sketches

It's Friday and I am so excited for the weekend! School is inching closer to be done for the summer and I can't wait! This week my little sister graduated from college and today we are heading towards Austin for some family fun! Everyone will be there and I mean everyone! I really enjoy getting together and seeing everyone! Such fun times!

I started with this sketch from Sassy Lil' Card Sketches, click here to see the sketch... For some reason I could copy it... darn Mac...: and I also used the colors from this week's challenge at Papercraft Star... Look at this fabulous photo!
I know the colors don't exactly match perfectly but I love the lime green and pink!
I was finally able to use my newest Cricut cartridge: Straight From the Nest and also the Gypsy Wanderings!

Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper/Sticker die cut: Basic Grey
Cricut Cartridge: Straight From the Nest-Fleur de lis background, Gypsy Wanderings: Silhouette of girl
Pink Ribbon: American Crafts

Enjoy and have a fabulous weekend!
