Papercraft Star Challenge #14: Simon Says

Challenge #14 is underway at Papercraft Star! It's a super fun Simon Says challenge. Here are the directions and you can interpret them however you like! As you see so far, the designers have interpretted the instructions differently which is great!

Make a Card
Base: 5.5 x 5.5
Mat: 5 x 5
Score Mat 5 times at 1/4 inch
3 Flowers from Die Cut or Punch
3 Buttons & Twine

For this challenge, I bought some chipboard flowers that I glimmer misted, which is always a fun! Then I added twine to each button! The sentiment is great for an everyday card! I love getting those random "how are you", "just thinking of you" cards! They can really brighten your day!

Here is my interpretation of the Simon Says Recipe! Hope you join us this week! :D
Supplies Used:
Carstock: Bazzill (green and orange)
Patterened Paper: Cosmo Cricket
Twine
Glimmer Mist: Coffee Shop
Brown Ribbon: Michaels
Buttons: Personal Stash

Papercraft Star Challenge #12

This week at Papercraft Star we have a wonderful photo for our inspiration! I just love the picture, probably one of my favorites! I have become to love the photo inspiration challenges! This one is no exception! I have so super cute pictures of our two kitties. I call the pictures their "kitty glamour shots"! A little lame, but I love my babies! Here is the inspiration!

Here is what I created!
A few weeks ago, I purchased a K&C Company paper pad at Michael's when they were having a sale on their paper pad's! I also enjoy fabric, and when I saw that is was paper based on Amy Butler's fabrics, I couldn't help myself! It was such a great buy for such beautiful paper! Instead of the orange, I went with a green, I think it makes the paper pop!
Here is a supply list!
Patterned Paper: (flowers and strips)K&C Company, (Green and White polka dots) Girls Paperie
Cardstock: Bazzill's Dotted Swiss (some of my favorite cardstock to use)
Buttons: came from personal stash
Ribbon: Michael's
White Flower: Prima
Fiskar's scalloped Border Punch
Cricut Cartridge: Storybook (both the title and flower)
